WISHING FOR HAPPIER FAMILY GATHERINGS AND RELATIONSHIPS OVER THE HOLIDAYS?

Less humbug! More merry!

FROM: Gary Morland

Does your family Christmas wish list (the one you don’t talk about) look something like this?

  • less negativity and offenses

  • more connecting & getting along

  • less stress and disappointment

  • more caring and gentleness

  • less grouchiness

  • more generosity

  • “can we be just a little more like those Christmas songs?”

I know what it’s like when your warm, homey holiday expectations are contradicted year-after-year by reality.

My mom was Mama Christmas with wave after tidal wave of gifts, and a tree that stayed up thru January.

Meanwhile, Dad was an alcoholic who was allergic to happy people.

Our Christmas gatherings always featured performances by Paula Dean and Scrooge. Can you relate?

But you never give up the dream, do you? And you shouldn’t.

Maybe this year REALLY COULD be different

Maybe this year could be A Family Christmas to Remember.

Maybe we can move a little closer to that family Christmas experience we’ve always wanted.

Not by adding to the burden of the holidays, but by relieving it.

It just takes some guidance and encouragement to help prepare you, and get you through, those challenging family scenes you know are coming.

You’re going through the holidays with family anyway, how about a way to help it be what you really want?

How?

It’s simple. You sign up to receive 2-3 emails per week during the Christmas season. Maybe a couple of short personal videos. Three things I hope you get out of it:

1 You’ll be reminded of the true meaning of the season, regularly during the season.

2 You’ll get help picturing what you appreciate about YOUR family and how to have some ideas to connect with them to help everyone get along better.

3 You’ll get encouragement on how to be soft and unoffendable and gracious with your family.

That’s it. It’s free.

The whole idea is to encourage you during the busy, challenging Christmas season that has high expectations to appreciate the meaning of the season, and high expectations for joyful family relationships.

It will add up over the season, one drop at a time.

The first drop is tomorrow, Tuesday, November 17. We’ll go through Christmas.

It’s not a course. No homework or assignments. Just encouragement and connecting available when you need it.

Would you join us? Please check back in November 2016
